I recently went on holiday to Kuching on the island of Borneo. When I was there I visited an orangutan sanctuary. I found out that these species are under threat due to palm oil plantations. I’ve decided that I would like to set up a charity that will be able to fund the buying, and conversion of palm tree plantations into old Forest. As I do not have a lot of money available myself I have decided that I am going to take out a loan with a P2P Lending network in able to afford the initial expenses involved in setting up this meaningful charity.
I think that the premise of the charity is a very good one and I am hopeful that many people would put some of their money into such a good cause. I am glad that I am going to take such a proactive step towards conservation of this wonderful species.
